American Curriculum Computer Science Online Tutoring (K-12)
Master coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy with our expert-led American Curriculum Computer Science classes. Aligned with CSTA and AP standards to prepare K-12 students for a tech-driven future through hands-on programming and logic building.
Unlock the Future with Computational Thinking
Welcome to the GeniusX Computer Science program, designed for students following the American Curriculum. In today’s digital world, understanding how technology works is just as fundamental as math or science. Our curriculum moves students from being simply consumers of technology to becoming active creators and problem solvers.
Our interactive online classes are aligned with the CSTA (Computer Science Teachers Association) K-12 Computer Science Standards and the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) frameworks. Whether your child is building their first animation or writing complex algorithms, our expert educators provide the structured support they need to excel globally.
What Students Will Learn
Our comprehensive computer science track covers essential theoretical concepts and practical, hands-on programming:
-
💻 Coding & Programming: Progression from visual block-based coding to high-level text-based languages, including Python and C++.
-
🧠 Computational Logic & Algorithms: Developing algorithmic thinking using flowcharts, structural logic, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
-
🌐 Networks & Systems: Understanding data communication, network topologies, the OSI model, and the fundamentals of data encryption.
-
🚀 Project-Based Development: Applying skills to real-world scenarios, from basic web development to foundational artificial intelligence concepts and robotics logic.
Course Structure by Grade Level
-
Elementary (Grades K-5): Digital citizenship, basic keyboarding, logical sequencing, and foundational block-based programming (like Scratch and basic robotics logic).
-
Middle School (Grades 6-8): Transitioning to text-based coding with Python, designing simple software applications, understanding computer hardware, and introductory web design.
-
High School (Grades 9-12): Advanced Python, C++, Object-Oriented Programming, database management (SQLite), and full preparation for AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A.
Why Choose This Computer Science Course?
-
Decades of Educational Expertise: Our curriculum is designed and delivered by veteran ICT and Computer Science educators with over 20 years of specialized teaching experience across international curricula.
-
Hands-On Screen Sharing: We utilize live coding environments where tutors can see student code in real-time, debug errors together, and build projects collaboratively.
-
Small Interactive Groups: Limited class sizes ensure every student gets the personalized attention required to master complex technical concepts.

Akhtab Hussain Bhatti is a Computer Science and ICT educator with 20 years of teaching experience across Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, A Level and FBISE curricula. He holds an MS in Computer Science specialising in Computer Networks and an active UAE MOE Transitional Teaching Licence.
His expertise includes Python programming, web development, SQL databases, computational thinking and digital skills. His lessons combine clear explanations, practical projects and focused exam preparation to help learners build confidence and solve problems independently.
